Still Trying to Fix Computer

I'm still trying to fix my computer.  I've tried about a dozen things without success so far.  Consequently, blog posting remains light.  Lately, I've been considering fine tuning the thing with a sledge hammer, but I'm just not convinced yet that would actually be helpful.

  1. Just threaten it with a sledge hammer. That may work. ;P

  2. Do you have someone locally who could help you with a Linux trial? Easy to try out, running off a CD with no installation. Better than a sledgehammer.

    1. In fact, if you know how to burn an ISO image to a CD or DVD, it's usually pretty easy to try Ubuntu or Linux Mint as a live CD.

  7. I usually find that a crescent wrench is better for making fine adjustments. Just remember to follow through.

  8. No, a sledgehammer will not fix the issues. Check out different IT companies that can look at your computer. Might be a hard drive issue that is easily fixed. Good luck!
