I'm still trying to fix my computer. I've tried about a dozen things without success so far. Consequently, blog posting remains light. Lately, I've been considering fine tuning the thing with a sledge hammer, but I'm just not convinced yet that would actually be helpful.
Just threaten it with a sledge hammer. That may work. ;P
ReplyDeleteDo you have someone locally who could help you with a Linux trial? Easy to try out, running off a CD with no installation. Better than a sledgehammer.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, if you know how to burn an ISO image to a CD or DVD, it's usually pretty easy to try Ubuntu or Linux Mint as a live CD.

ReplyDeleteI usually find that a crescent wrench is better for making fine adjustments. Just remember to follow through.
ReplyDeleteNo, a sledgehammer will not fix the issues. Check out different IT companies that can look at your computer. Might be a hard drive issue that is easily fixed. Good luck!
